About Us

Savoring Slowly was born from a deep love for the Dolomites and for the kind of places that still have the power to surprise, inspire, and leave a lasting impression.

Savoring Experiences

We are Francesca and Roberto, siblings, travellers, and hospitality professionals. We grew up spending our summers and winters in these mountains, returning year after year to the same valleys, villages, and trails. Long before this became our profession, it was simply a part of who we are.

IWhere it began

Rarely found in a guidebook.

Over the years, we studied, lived, and worked abroad, building careers that took us across different countries, cultures, and industries. These experiences allowed us to discover some of the world's finest hotels, destinations, and ways of travelling, but they also taught us something unexpected: the most memorable experiences are rarely found in guidebooks.

They are found in the people you meet, the stories you hear, and the places that still feel genuine.

IIFrancesca

A decade in hospitality.

Francesca studied Hospitality Management in Switzerland and spent more than a decade working in international hospitality, including luxury hotels across Europe. Her journey later led her to both the Milano Cortina 2026 Organising Committee and the official hospitality programme for the Olympic Games, where she worked on accommodation and guest experiences for international clients and VIP guests.

Finance, places & people.

Roberto brings a complementary perspective, with a background in Finance and Real Estate. Having studied in London and later specialised in Real Estate Finance and Digital Transformation in Barcelona, he combines an entrepreneurial mindset with a deep curiosity for places, people, and the stories that shape them.

IVTogether

Local roots, global eyes.

Together, we blend international hospitality expertise with an extensive local network and a lifelong connection to these mountains.

Today, the Dolomites are our home. We continue to explore them with the same curiosity we had as children, always searching for hidden valleys, family-run mountain huts, local artisans, extraordinary food producers, historic estates, and the countless small details that make a place truly special.

Along the way, we have built relationships with remarkable people who are deeply connected to this land and who generously share its traditions, culture, and way of life.

VHow it grew

Through the eyes of those who know it.

Savoring Slowly grew naturally from these experiences.

We didn't want to create just another collection of luxury homes or a catalogue of activities. We wanted to offer something more personal: a way of experiencing the Dolomites through the eyes of those who genuinely know and love them.

VIWhat luxury means

True luxury is authenticity.

For us, true luxury is not about excess.

It is about authenticity.

It is having access to places that are difficult to find on your own. It is stepping inside a centuries-old Venetian villa whose stories have been passed down through generations. It is sharing lunch on a remote alpine plateau, meeting artisans who keep ancient traditions alive, discovering hidden villages untouched by mass tourism, or landing by helicopter in the mountains for an unforgettable day among the peaks.

Many of these places will never appear in a guidebook. They are shared through trust, relationships, and a genuine connection with the people who call these mountains home.

VIIHow we work

We personally select & curate.

This is why we personally select every home and carefully curate every experience.

Through our local network, we connect our guests with places, people, and stories that would otherwise remain hidden. Sometimes it is a private dinner in a mountain hut. Sometimes it is a conversation with a local craftsman, a family that has lived in these valleys for generations, or a producer preserving traditions that are slowly disappearing.

VIIIWhy these

Not exclusive — genuine.

These experiences are not chosen simply because they are exclusive.

They are chosen because they create a genuine connection.

Because the journeys we remember most are not always defined by what we see.

They are defined by what we feel.

A landscape that leaves us speechless. A conversation that stays with us. A meal shared with extraordinary people. A sense of belonging in a place we had never been before.

What we hope to share

That is what we hope to share with every guest who travels with us.

Not just a beautiful holiday in the Dolomites, but an experience that leaves a lasting emotion — one that remains long after the journey has ended, and long after the mountains have disappeared from view.
