Our Selection

A few ways
to begin.

Not a catalogue. Just a few ideas.

The Dolomites are not one destination, and we do not believe in experiencing them in just one way.

Where you are staying, the season, your pace and what you are curious about all shape what we create. You might want to spend your time around food, outdoor pursuits, wellness, local culture and traditions or move naturally between all of them.

We tend towards quieter valleys, old mountain villages and places that have kept their character. We look for the people and places that tell you something about where you are: artisans, guides, small producers, old mountain homes and family-run places but also exceptional restaurants and acclaimed chefs whose cooking remains deeply connected to the mountains around them.

For us, authenticity is not about simplicity. A table might be beside a fire in a centuries-old home, inside a family-run inn, or in the kitchen of a Michelin-starred chef. What matters is that there is a reason for taking you there, a connection to the landscape, its ingredients, its traditions and the people behind them.

The time of year matters too. Throughout the seasons, traditions return to the valleys, villages celebrate in their own way and the landscape changes what is possible. If something is happening while you are here that we think is worth experiencing, we will find a way to make it part of your journey.

A day might unfold on foot, by mountain bike, on skis or simply around a table. It might take you through several valleys or keep you in one small village for longer than you expected. It might begin with one of the ideas below, borrow something from another, or turn into something else entirely.

And many of the places, people and experiences we work with will never appear on these pages.

These are simply a few ways to begin.

Tell us what draws you, how much time you have and what you would like to discover.

We will shape the rest.

How to read this

Private & made to measure

Every experience below is private and made to measure, so the pages that follow give you the shape of a day rather than a fixed itinerary.

Flexible

Each can stand alone, become part of a longer journey, or be combined with something entirely different. We can build around where you are already staying, help you choose one of the homes in our collection, or shape a journey through different parts of the Dolomites.

Prices on request

Prices are quoted individually for your group and always on request. Nothing is booked until we have confirmed the people, the places and the date together.

“And then there is everything else.”

Personalize Your Stay

One day, a few days, or the whole journey.

An experience can be just that one memorable day or it can become part of something much bigger.

Tell us how long you would like to spend in the Dolomites and we can shape the journey around you, combining different valleys, experiences and places to stay along the way.

You might choose one of the private chalets in our collection and let us build the days around it. Or, if you prefer a hotel, we can recommend places that suit the way you travel and create the itinerary from there.

For longer journeys, we can also combine different homes and hotels across the Dolomites, giving you the chance to experience more than one valley without having to think about the logistics in between.

From accommodation and private transfers to guides, ski equipment, restaurants and the experiences along the way, we bring the different pieces together into one journey.

Tell us how much time you have. We will shape what happens within it.

Before we begin

Practical matters.

Everything you might want to know before we begin.

How We Work

Every experience is private and quoted individually.

Tell us your dates, where you are staying or where you would like to stay, how many of you are travelling and what interests you. We will come back to you as soon as possible with a tailored proposal, bringing together the experience, the people involved, timings and full price.

Some experiences take a little more time to arrange than others, particularly when private access or several local partners are involved. We'll keep you updated while we put everything in place.

If you are planning several days with us, we will bring everything together into one journey, so you have one clear proposal rather than a collection of separate arrangements.

Booking & Confirmation

Every experience is different, and so are the arrangements behind it.

Your experience or journey is confirmed once your proposal has been accepted in writing and the deposit specified in your proposal has been received.

Payment terms may vary depending on the experience, the services involved and how far in advance you are booking. Everything will be clearly set out in your proposal before you confirm.

Changes & Cancellation

Because many of our experiences involve private access, individual guides, local hosts and services reserved especially for you, cancellation terms vary depending on the experience.

The conditions that apply to your booking, including any deposits, payment deadlines and cancellation charges, will always be clearly stated in your proposal before confirmation.

If weather or mountain conditions affect an experience, we will always look first at whether we can adapt the day, change the timing or arrange a suitable alternative during your stay.

Any specific weather-related cancellation or refund conditions will be included in your proposal.

Weather & Mountain Conditions

The mountains decide more than we do.

Weather, snow and mountain conditions can occasionally change what is possible. When that happens, our job is not simply to cancel your plans, but to reshape them.

Wherever possible, we'll have an alternative in mind and suggest how best to use the day instead.

Some experiences, including helicopter journeys, night skiing, horseback riding and certain mountain activities, are particularly dependent on weather and operating conditions and may require final confirmation closer to the experience.

Skiing & Equipment

If skiing forms part of your day or journey, we can arrange the details around you.

Bring your own equipment, or let us organise ski and snowboard rental, boots, helmets and fitting through selected local partners. For longer ski journeys, we can coordinate equipment, ski passes, private ski professionals and transfers as part of the itinerary.

In Italy, third-party liability insurance is required when skiing on marked alpine pistes. Where available, we can arrange the appropriate cover together with your ski pass.

Children & Families

Many of our experiences can be shaped beautifully around families.

Some lend themselves particularly well to children, from meeting local artisans and cooking together to discovering mountain traditions, while others have minimum ages or specific requirements.

Tell us who is travelling and we will suggest what works best for everyone.

Languages

Savoring works in Italian and English.

The guides, artisans, producers and hosts we work with are local, and helping you communicate with the people you meet is part of what we do.

Other languages can be arranged on request with advance notice.

Accessibility & Dietary Requirements

Tell us as early as possible.

Dietary requirements, specific menus, reduced walking, adapted transport and other individual needs can often be accommodated when we know about them from the beginning.

We will always tell you clearly if a particular experience has limitations that we cannot reasonably adapt.

What The Price Includes

Every proposal is different, so you will always receive a breakdown of what is included before booking.

Depending on the experience, this may include private transfers, guides and other professionals, private access, activities, entrance fees, ski passes, meals and drinks described in the proposal, as well as Savoring's planning, coordination and assistance throughout.

Unless specifically included in your proposal, prices do not cover flights, personal purchases, gratuities or accommodation.

For multi-day journeys, accommodation can be included and arranged as part of your proposal, whether in one of the homes in our collection, selected hotels, or a combination of both.

Insurance

We recommend travelling with appropriate personal travel and medical insurance for the activities included in your journey, particularly for mountain and winter sports.

Certain activities may have specific insurance requirements, which we will highlight during the planning process. Where relevant and available, we can also help arrange activity-specific cover.
